NADHIRA KHALID started her carrier as a translator in 1997 when she became an in-house translator and interpreter at a large-scale American-based mining company, together with Akhmad Ripai Subroto and Abdul Mukti. Over fifteen years with the company led her to discover that she is a natural learner and a multitalented person. From knowing nothing about mining and heavy equipment when joining the company, very soon she turned into a translator with both general and technical knowledge who worked with various departments and resource persons both in the office and in the mine site.

She is also a voice over talent who has recorded many videos for various companies in various fields and a script writer of some company videos as well as writing for general and Public Relations purposes. Adding to the list, she is a freelance fiction published writer. Like her two colleagues, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the English Department, University of Mataram, Indonesia and holds a Diploma in Translator Training in Mining Industry, run by PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (PTNNT) and authorized by the Training Accreditation Council (TAC), Western Australia, an agency of the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).
